Breast Cancer More Condition_symptoms Why Do We Spend So Much More Money On Breast Cancer Research Than Other Forms?

Why do we spend so much more money on breast cancer research than other forms? - breast cancer more condition_symptoms

I have read several articles about deaths from cancer and found that more men die from prostate cancer than women die from breast cancer. In addition, people are much more focused on this type of cancer that women develop breast cancer.
See, wherever we are (on television, radio, labels), we see pink.
Despite the deaths of all these stories about tobacco and snuff, do not spend nearly as much money in research for lung cancer, etc.
Why are there such differences?

All forms of cancer deserve equal funding. It is an absolute horror, regardless of age, stage or degree, or have the kind of cancer. A horror. I can not in good conscience, try to choose a type of cancer that should be given more attention and more resources than others to receive, including breast cancer. I'm glad to support you and to lead the organization in the fight against cancer.

On the other hand, I have a child with a rare form of cancer. There is always an empty feeling in my stomach, because dying children and young people with the disease. Almost all of them. . and is a lazy, indolent cancer, robs young life. Her belly is filled with multiple large tumors, so heavy they can no longer be endured. I can not even explain how misearable the disease. It is so difficult, if small, five to ten years, children have this type of cancer. I know there are other diseases that deserve funding and research, but it hurts in the heart of young people with sarcomas of the abdomen. There are no pink ribbons for them. No lawyersten for them. They are invisible in our society. They die slowly and painfully out of the way so that nobody notices. And no one to blame.

But back to the question, the reason for these differences is simple. . a large number of people, survivors, and a good strong organization to promote education and the resources devoted to stopping breast cancer. Rare cancers have no organization, because they advertise the number of employees and to have committed the truth, the few survivors time to advocate for their disease.

And while the medical community is fascinated by this rare form of cancer, now is the funding of cancer, save men, so little could be limited, and it is under active research. People with cancer is rare at this time. . are unnecessary. They are casually presented statistics.

But what can you do? There is little of what we do about it. So just to give our best and still stay focused and hope. And, yes, we support research on all cancers.

Maybe one dayshave the energy to do more. But now, I find what I'm doing for the research and created a database of patients for treatments that benefit all.

Because we are getting somewhere in the search for a cure for breast cancer, we are a group of other cancers.

Yes, I really am not a smoker with lung cancer. What can I say, folk art (.)(.) love perhaps, why we spend a lot more research on breast cancer.

Seriously, the fewer women with breast cancer, because we have presented are fighting so hard, and not vice versa. Maybe even do that research on prostate cancer.

Please inform this book he was reading. In addition, the bands for various cafes and parties and show them available. I would suggest checking the website of the National Cancer Institute to a better understanding of this achieved what the statistics on these two types of cancer. I do not know whether they are aware of, but breast cancer can affect women at a very young age. Girls between the ages of 13 years, it became known that have this horrible diease. Even if you have been found on the website staticstics National Cancer Institute, that 80% of men who are diagnoised with prostate cancer over 65 years. Even the American Cancer Society statistics to verify and compare. Here is the information that I found, and I think it is a viable source of information:
212,920 women with breast cancer this year, 40,970 will die diagnoised.
234,460 men with prostate cancer this year and 27,350 die diagnoised.

Diagnoises noted that the rate of breast cancer does not include people who also have diagnoised.

So if you go through these numWomen are still more states this year are dying from breast cancer than men Protat cancer.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that both are horrible diease. I doubt that anyone will find to say about it. All forms of cancer, it's terrible. But if you want reliable figures to turn reliable sources. The National Cancer Institute SEER who has access to statistics has done more than you or I would never need, but if you're a numbers person like me, I love you.

Another point to consider that there are organizations out there that have millions or even billions of $ $ on breast cancer awareness, cast as the Komen Foundation. Yes, you can be overwhelming with the pink ribbon, not to mention, if a company offers you a huge 1% of their profits for research.

Also, I'm sure that affected one way or another prostate cancer and my thoughts are with you. Good luck for the brown band get there! :)

If all the cancer is obviously a terrible thing that most people do not know how 'normal': 1 in four of us to develop some form of cancer in our lives. Prostate cancer usually strikes older men, though sometimes very serious, men are often about something else appropriate to the age related. Breast cancer affects women of all ages.

Breast cancer is one of the "manageable" for cancer has become in recent years. I know it sounds like a cold, hard choice, but we would rather save when given the choice, 25 years old mother of two children, or a 74-year-grandfather lived a life full and meaningful?

The snuff Lung cancer is a lifestyle! *

(Yes, I know that not all lung cancer is a consequence of smoking, but much of what is.)

Breast cancer is very "popular" cancer, and get the attention of the public as much as it can destroy one of the most obviously "important" parts of the body of a woman.

I do not know. I do not think a difference of publicity in this case means a difference of research funds. Not all the money into the research comes from these campaigns. If you are looking for effective means, including research, the majority (the largest amounts, which are actually an investment) comes from pharmaceutical companies. If there is a lot of people who suffer from investing definitely pharmaceutical companies. More people, more money they receive. Remember that companies in the securities markets, pension funds are invested ...

They do not make bad investments, is not it?
