My sister has just graduated from dental hygiene. You can use a dental care program taking in most schools. My sister had her in a local community college and lasts about 2-3 years to complete. You need the university to go to a dentist.

Dental hygiene is a notch above the dental assistants and one step below a dentist. Hygienists and assistants help the dentist. It cleans the teeth, but pay more and dental hygienists are authorized to do the hard work.

It would be easier for a dental hygienist, instead of a dentist. But what you do.

I am sure you can work hard and say there good grades in school, because most universities prerequisites that must be taken to move the dental hygiene programs. Bottom line, it must be intelligent and willing to study study study!
